As a circus show this one was mostly collected from different types of circus disciplines and acts. The idea was to find and adopt a narrative line that could put all the scenes together on one line.
The central line was chosen to be elephants and the moment of their connection to people. Classical Russian story for children «The Elephant» tells a story of a girl who was sick and didn’t get better until her parents decided to make her dream come true - they invited an elephant from the Zoo to be their guest. The narrative line of the show is a girl who gets a dream about going with her parents to the circus when she gets better. All the artists become her good and scary dreams, while she gets stronger beating her decease. The main moment is meeting with elephant, finding the contact and getting strong and brave after drinking tea with elephants and the director of the circus who looks in the dream exactly like the girl’s dad.
NB The center of this circus troupe is an act with elephants. They still exist in Russian circuses. It is in a slow process of changing. But till now the choice is to keep animals in the circus where they stay with their people to whom they are connected and who gives a good care about them.
